Admissions

All application materials should be submitted to the Office of Graduate Admissions via the online Graduate Application. Use the graduate admission checklist to get started.

  • Deadlines

    Applications may be accepted for the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters; different tracks have different availability. Consult Admission Requirements to confirm. No action will be taken on files missing any of the required items.

    • Fall: Apply by June 1, 5 p.m. EST
    • Spring: Apply by October 1, 5 p.m. EST
    • Summer: Apply by March 1, 5 p.m. EST
  • Requirements
    • GPA: 3.0
    • GRE: Not Required
    • Applicant Statement/Letter of Intent: Required
    • Letters of Recommendation: Required, 2 letters
    • Additional Requirements:
      • Resume
      • Bachelor's degree in education or related field. Candidates with bachelor's degrees in a different field must demonstrate teaching experience
      • For the Elementary Education specialization, applicants must hold or qualify for Florida certification or equivalent in elementary education, early childhood education or special education (including practical teaching experience)
